After moving to Utah from Hawaii, Our family got homesick, we began to cook Hawaiian food as we remembered it, and took it to parties, The taste was amazing, and many people inspired our chef to cater our food. After a lot of work, Dakine Grindz came to reality, we started in a food truck. Once people began to know the name, we eventually found our way into our first restaurant location in Sunset, UT. Where we continues to serve our way into the hearts of customers all over the valley. We have now expanded and have a 2nd location in Ogden, UT.

Our family was inspired to share some of the different foods from our cultures that make us who we are. Dakine Grindz offers the best of the local flavors enjoyed by many everyday. We serve the island flavors of Hawaii and the Philippines. Local favorites and traditional recipes, we are known for making guests feel happy, full and satisfied.
